Divorce Mediation

The Colorado Center for Restorative Practices team are trained mediators with special interest in divorce mediation. We bring our restorative approach to our work as mediators, opening the door to results and benefits that surpass typical mediation.

Our divorce mediation can be combined with the Restorative Divorce process or done independently.

Mediation, along with the Restorative Divorce process takes the power, responsibility, and decision making out of the hands of judges, divorce attorneys, and court appointed psychologists, and puts that power back into the hands of the principal parties.

Mediation is flexible and confidential. It gives you and your spouse a way to settle the conflict between you - conflict that inevitably arises from divorce, in a way that facilitates the relationship transition from a romantic partnership to a co-parenting partnership. The mediator remains neutral between the parties and the mediator cannot give advice to either party - the mediator does not act as an attorney.
